Identifying soluble and insoluble objects in water worksheet

A worksheet table for whole class starter activity, experiment activity or lower ability activity for materials that will or won’t dissolve in water. Children can cut out and stick solids to sort them into columns in the table for solids that will and won’t dissolve in water (soluble or insoluble), then check their answers (included in file). Part of the Year 5 National Curriculum for Science, could be used as part of a dissolving experiment in class as all of the materials used can be easily obtained.
