This is a GCSE lesson on effects of tropical cyclones using hurricane Katrina as a case study. Key facts about the lesson are:
1. The lesson first introduce students to some of the effects of hurricanes/cyclones/typhoons. Then it defines these effects as primary and secondary effects. There is a really good task for students to develop their understanding of these concepts.
