Creating, presenting, and displaying individuality flags is a great way to build a positive classroom community! Students will enjoy being creative and sharing unique information about themselves while teachers are able to assess not only their creativity, but writing and presentation skills. This 3-part project is best suited for grades 5-8, but may be modified for younger or older students.
There are several parts of the project that are left to the teacher’s discretion (flag size, use of essay or notes during student presentations, requirement of a final draft, length of presentation, etc.). Modify the assignment to meet the needs of your learners!
