Interview English Reading Activity Year 3/4 Class.
Based on looking at the front cover and title of the book Journey by Aaron Becker.

I have another 30 minute Reading Activity interview lesson for the same year group based on the same book in my shop

I completed this activity for a Year 3/4 as part of an interview for a teacher job. I had 15 minutes but this activity would be better suited for 20 minutes and can be adapted for a 30 minute reading lesson or longer.

Included in this lesson activity is:

1. Lesson presentation with the “L.O- To predict what might happen using the title and illustrations”
2. Word Bank with key words
3. Sentence Stems
4. Lesson Plan for the activity
5. Last slide of the presentation is the front cover without the title that can be printed for the “what can you see activity?”
6. Worksheet for the activity “what do you predict the story is going to be about?” and then “now you have seen the front cover, can you add more detail to your predictions?”
