Fifth lesson in scheme of work exploring Islam and it’s fundamental beliefs. The series now finishes looking at how Islam has become linked with terrorism.

This lesson addresses issues of ISIS. Students will understand who ISIS and what their ideology is. Students are given information about ISIS that can be built upon by investigating how ISIS how grown over the years. Students then begin to consider and evaluate how this issue of terrorism has impacted Muslims by learning about the five pillars of Islam and what the majority of Muslims believe in.
