In this edition of our Proud to Be series for Black History Month, we look at Jesse Owens, arguably the best track & field athlete to have ever lived. Designed for Key Stage 3(KS3), although would b suitable for GCSE also.

Contains a short video on her and his achievements, discussion points, extended writing activities and a wordsearch. Please watch the video first as it contains issues that some students may find upsetting, such as racism and discrimination. Viewer discretion advised.

If you found this useful please rate and check out our other resources in the store. We celebrate Black History all year round and produce black history and black themed resources throughout the year so please check back regularly.
