In this mix and match activity, children are given a variety of historical figures and scenarios They must research to find out what crime was committed by the figure or during the episode of history. They must then match them up with picture and the punishment that was given for the crime.
I created this for secondary IMYC unit on Justice. The activity was very stimulating for children as they also had to find definitions. It prompted much discussion as they completed it in small groups as a challenge to complete in under two hours.

This was a great resource. Used for Year 9 History Elective (Aus). Started great conversations about crime and punishment over the course of history. Thanks for sharing.
