Landscape art inspired by the English Artist, David Hockney.

  3. Practicing key Skills - Hockney viewfinder
  4. Applying key skills - inspired piece
  5. Collecting ideas for final piece - local area study
  6. Planning and designing - final piece
  7. Applying taught skills - final piece
  8. Self and peer evaluations

Focus is on line and pattern making using a range of media - graphite pencils, water-colours and oil pastels.

LO: To study a range of different pieces from famous artists/designers.
LO: To collect ideas in my portfolio for use in future work.
LO: To innovate on the work of others to make it my own.
LO: To experiment with ideas and techniques before deciding upon my final piece.

LO: To evaluate my portfolio and explain what I have done well and what I could do to improve.
LO: To look at other people’s work and explain what they have done well and what they could do to improve.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not an artist, I am a primary teacher - but this is my own work that I use to model to the children so please edit and make it your own if you choose.
