Landscape art inspired by the English Artist, David Hockney.
Whole unit from skills to application to evaluation:

1. Looking at examples and identifying lines, patterns and tones used.
2. Water colour wheels / Oil pastel blending techniques
3. Practicing key Skills - Hockney viewfinder
4. Applying key skills - inspired piece
5. Collecting ideas for final piece - local area study
6. Planning and designing - final piece
7. Applying taught skills - final piece
8. Self and peer evaluations

Focus is on line and pattern making using a range of media - graphite pencils, water-colours and oil pastels.
