A PSHE resource which can be used for a whole lesson or as a tutorial for KS2, KS3 and KS4 exploring friendship problems. The Golden Rule is assessed as a means of managing challenges such as leaving people out, talking about people behind others backs, breaking promises, freinds having favourites, ‘joking’ about others, bragging/boasting and whispering in front of others. The importance of empathy, humility, good communication, saying sorry and asking for forgiveness are identified as skills and values required in developing and maintaining healthy friendships.
