KS2 poetry - STEM poems

This is a free set of twelve poems for Key Stage 2, exploring the STEM subjects. Each poem is available as a free downloadable, printable poem poster.

These twelve fascinating poems demonstrate the inspirational impact of exploring Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through the medium of poetry.

Take mathematics outside into the garden for a sensory experience of counting, then find out about the many different types of engineer we depend on – and which you could choose to be! Encounter new theories about quantum mechanics with Derek the dog, discover the most exquisitely mathematical of foods, and celebrate the largest artery of the body. Experience the importance of resilience and experimentation, then watch two innovative engineers-in-training at play.
