A full 12-14 week DT or Art project that focusses on Graphic Design, aimed at year 8.
The project introduces the initial concepts of Graphic Design and goes through the design process with focus on Typography, Imagery design, Colour and Composition. The Final outcome is a music Album sleeve.
A set of 24 keywords is included with two keyword test sheets to be delivered half way through and at the end of the project.
Materials needed: Pencils, rulers, coloured pens and/or pencils, Scissors, Gluesticks, Green pens (assessment), google slides or powerpoint.
This scheme of work is heavily computer based and should be delivered in a computer room. It can be adapted for non digital means.
Optional - scanner and photoshop for teacher composite, 7" vinyl disks to go with sleeve.
