This is a fun project where students can either as individuals or as part of a group test some of the maths they have been learning in “real life” scenarios and use their problem solving skills to make business decisions to ensure that their fashion company is a success!
The maths that will be used:
Basic financial maths, percentage increase, profit, area of 2D shapes, using scale factors, currency conversions, solving basic equations, LCM & HCF, surface area, ratio and angles of polygons.
The project was designed so that it could be completed online, but it would also work just as well (if not better) on paper.
