KS3 Romeo and Juliet Writing Activities

A series of lessons (8 in total) that develop writing skills including use of oxymoron, monologue and soliloquy writing. An assessment style task is included. Suitable for a mixed ability Year 8 group and adaptable for online learning. Opportunities for pair and group work with peer assessment are integrated. Scaffolds and modelled writing are included.

Please not this does not cover the entire play, these are activities that can be added to a larger scheme of work or be used as discreet writing tasks for students with prior knowledge of the play.
