Welcome to the KS3 science stretch and challenge activity booklet.

I have created this to challenge students knowledge and to develop a deeper, more critical understanding of the world around them.

The activities inside will get students looking at content (based around Exploring Science but applicable to most curriculum) from a range of different perspectives, force them to think outside of the box as well as getting them to explore new, more difficult KS3 and GCSE content.

I use this booklet to stretch and challenge the top 50 KS3 students in a project called ‘Science Academy’ which has been hugely successful in preparing students for KS4 as well as improving their academic achievement in KS3 Science.
