A simple to use PPT that introduces students to the concept of variation within species and the 2 different types of variations (continuous and discontinuous). There is a little game as well that has students try to determine if various physical characteristics are caused by their genes or the environment. There is also a worksheet for them to carry out an investigation amongst themselves studying different features of themselves (eg. finger length).
