A set of three lessons following ‘La Lecture’ Studio GCSE Higher Module 2.3. Students are reminded of opinions and different book genres to start the lessons then go on to practice using the imperfect tense with the present to contrast old and new reading habits. Students practice their skills through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities as well as additional slides to explain the grammar, additional exercises to practice conjugation, and differentiated translations in to French and English. The lessons conclude with a role play card task with student friendly criteria and an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self/peer assessment.
