Large and Small Flashcards with Symbols

A set of colour coded flashcards to support Measures and linked to Sorting and Matching for SEND, EYFS and KS1.
There are 8 sheets, each with 6 flashcards. 3 are yellow (indicating small) and 3 are blue (indicating large).
SEND pupils will be familiar with symbols and this will support their learning.

Cut out the flashcards and children can use these for speaking and listening, sorting and matching.

For example, children learn to measure and compare objects to determine which is larger or smaller, an essential skill in mathematics.
The final page of the resource is a black and white template. Children can draw 3 large objects and 3 small objects and this will assess their learning and understanding.
