Some bits and pieces that I found very helpful to myself when conduction LEGO Therapy sessions with children.

A brief overview of each document:

    • (Un)Helpful Thoughts and Actions Sorter - A sheet to work through with the children where they can discuss any thoughts they’ve had or actions they’ve carried out in the school day.
    • Activity/Game Generator - Cut and place in a hat. Allow the child to pick and play the game as an ice-breaker for the first 5/10 minutes. Description of each activity is included.
  • Energiser Activity Cards - A range of activities that can be completed in the first 5/10 minutes of the session. Cut out and place in bowl/hat and allow child to pick.
    • Self-esteem Bricks - The children complete the sentences.
    • Self-esteem scale - Acts as a baseline and should be completed with the child at the start and end of any block of session.
  • Session Log - A handy place to write down any information from the session.
  • Though Record - Allows discussion based on a particular event and you can work through each part with the child.
  • Thoughts-Feelings-Actions - Card sorting game and a basis of discussion (when have you felt/acted/thought/…)

Anything to try and help! ALl the best (:
