This is a fully differentiated lesson looking at the significance of the Island in the novel, The Lord of the Flies. This lesson helps learners understand how Golding has used language and structure to describe key events within the novel.
The lesson has many opportunities for AFL, a student example for an exam response and an opportunity to improve and develop creative writing skills.
This lesson works well both face-to-face and online and it has been tried and tested with my own groups.
