A set of three lessons following ‘Ma région est top’ Studio GCSE Higher Module 4.1. Students are reminded of irregular adjectives (position and agreement) at the start of the lessons then go on to be introduced to some more complex vocabulary and the pronoun ‘y’. Students practice their skills through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities as well as additional slides to explain the grammar, additional exercises to practice using the pronoun ‘y’ and a task to help them recognise different regions in France. A spin the wheel game is also used to consolidate student knowledge. The lessons conclude with a photo card task with student friendly criteria and an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self/peer assessment.
