This is for a two hour lesson on the Magna Carta. The lesson outlines what the magna carta is, with a fun video to watch and take notes from, then looks at whether or not this means that prisoners have the same rights to vote, and then examines the case study of Thompson and Venables and how the Magna Carta is relevant today. There is also an exam question that students can either answer as part of the lesson or just draft arguments for and against.
