A budgeting exercise used with P7. Includes the budgeting worksheet, the monthly costs and some extra handouts to children who are working well. The task I used this for was to have children pair up and budget for a year. They had to have all the minimum costs as well as their wage for the month. In addition they had to chose 2 activities and 2 purchases each month. These had to be different from the previous month.
They can be adapted to be personal to your children e.g. I used a certain football club because I know some of the children in the class supported them.
