Matilda Movie Guide | Questions | Worksheet | Google Formats (PG - 1996) turns this fun movie into a learning opportunity for your students. Compare Matilda to the rest of her family, evaluate her parent's arguments and parenting style, and discuss the possible root of Ms. Trunchbull's fear. Ask students to put themselves in Matilda's shoes and devise a plan to 'teach' Ms. Trunchbull a lesson. Finally, ask students to determine their philosophy of teaching and how a school should be run compared to how Ms. Trunchbull runs the school.

NOTE: This movie is based on the 1988 book by Roald Dahl.

This resource consists of 10 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.
