This wonderful resource contains the vital dates and information needed for the 15 key individuals from the ‘Medicine in Britain’ Edexcel GCSE unit.

For each individual (or group of individuals in the case of Watson and Crick);

  • Summary of Key Info
  • Summary of their IMPACT on CHANGE or CONTINUITY
  • Follow up Questions for Students

There are also some additional questions at the start that could be used for lessons/ homework or revision. These questions are differentiated into EASY, MODERATE and CHALLENGE to give scope for students to respond to the information.

This entire resource could be used complete as a revision handout or chopped up and used one individual at a time during lessons - or even as homework.

As you know it is vital that students don’t only know when and how these individuals operated but also the impact they had to either help or hinder the progress of medicine to the position it is in today.

As a bonus I have included some questions at the start (in the style of EDEXCEL) to help students think about the impact that Individuals had on medicine.
