A Power Point for use as a start or short activity to help name 2 D shapes. Students are given a screen of shapes for 15 seconds and they must try and memorize what they see and write down the shapes they remember.
Can they remember them all? This is a great re-cap activity or even as an introduction to classifying shapes. You could even get students to draw WHERE they remember seeing the shapes. Students can work individually or in pairs.
Do they remember the correct names for each quadrilateral and triangle?
