Mental Health and Wellbeing End of Year Math Project Years 8-9

A fun and creative Mental Health and Wellbeing end of year math project with a twist. This cross curricular activity not only includes 3D shape constructions, nets, volume, surface area, statistical enquiry, data collection and graph drawing, but also introduces ideas surrounding Mental Health and Wellbeing. A must have resource for grade 7 - 9, gently introducing the importance of social, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing.

The project encourages students to decide what makes them happy and incorporate those ideas into a 3D model of a house that they design and create. A perfect end of year activity to keep students engaged and on task.

Your students will love bringing out their creative side while spending some mindful time pondering what fulfils them.
