This complete student work booklet introduces key stage 3 students to ‘motion’ through a graphics based design and make (DMA) project. Students design and manufacture a card sign for their bedroom door that includes a minimum of one moving component. The DMA includes a number of theory sessions that are strategically planned into the booklet to aid the students designing, whilst at the same time delivering key core content.
This booklet has been produced to provide knowledge and understanding for the AQA 1-9 Design and Technology (8552) Core Technical Principles (3.1) and Designing and Making Principles (3.3).
