Musical Static Balloons Science Task Card Activity

Check out this awesome mini investigation in which students can develop their understanding of electrical energy, and more specifically the build up of electrons creating static electricity. You will need some small balloons as well as salt to make this possible. Included you will find clear directions for students and teachers that includes objectives, supplemental worksheets to engage students and a clear set of step by step directions. Once the balloons are charged up with electrons, they will make the salt move and therefore will make some cool sounds that the kids will love.
