This is a poem I made up for national poetry day so that I didn't need to go off topic (instructions).
The lesson idea is that the children get the incomplete poem with missing imperative verbs that they need to sort out. I have also included comprehension questions to match.
I have included the complete poem, questions for the Higher Ability and Middle/Lower Ability, the missing words from the poem and the frames for each ability group as well as a lesson plan.
