Number Name Recognition Memory Pairs Game

This fun Number Name Recognition Memory Pairs Game helps pupils to practise and remember number names up to 20 and relate them to written numerals and amounts. Included in each set is a number name cards and a matching written numeral and ten frame representation for each number from 1 to 20. There are four sets of the game included in four different colours so different pairs/groups of pupils can be playing with different sets at the same time and the cards won't get mixed up!

How to Play
Print, laminate and cut out the cards. In pairs, or small group, pupils lay the cards face down on a table. They then take turns to turn over two cards. If they find the two matching number name and written numeral/ten frame card of a particular number, they may keep the cards and have another go. If not, they must turn the cards back over and the next person has their turn. It is important to remember where the cards are positioned for future turns!
