This fun Number Recognition Memory Pairs Game helps students to relate written numerals to objects for amount up to and including 20. Included in each set is a number numeral cards and a matching ten frame representation for each number from 1 to 20. There are four sets of the game included in four different colours so different pairs/groups of students can be playing with different sets at the same time and the cards won't get mixed up!
How to Play
Print, laminate and cut out the cards. In pairs, or small group, students lay the cards face down on a table. They then take turns to turn over two cards. If they find the two matching numeral and ten frame card of a particular number, they may keep the cards and have another go. If not, they must turn the cards back over and the next person has their turn. It is important to remember where the cards are positioned for future turns!
Other Uses
These cards can also be used to play snap or simply as a visual prompt when teaching number recognition.
