OCR Biology Tropisms and industrial hormones

This is a complete lesson covering sections 5.1.5 a-f of the OCR Biology specification- tropisms and industrial uses of hormones. It starts by introducing tropisms in general and then phototropisms specifically. There is then an activity where students look the experimental results and have to make conclusions based on those results. The lesson then looks at more experimental evidence including the split shoot experiment. The lesson then moves on to look at geotropisms and plants growing in the dark. The lesson closes by looking at industrial uses of hormones

The lesson includes a starter, full notes, various student led activities and a differentiated summary at the end.
