OCR Geog A: People of the Planet workb'k

This is a 26 page workbook of activities written to deliver the whole of the ‘People of the Planet’ unit of work for the OCR A specification. It covers (1) Development and development indicators: (2) Uneven development - physical and human factors: (3) Types of aid, with a case study on Goat Aid: (4) Case study of an LIDC - Ethiopia: changing economic development: (5) Rostow’s model of development: (6) Global urbanisation - megacities/world city: (7) rapid urbanisation in LIDCs: (8) Rio de Janeiro - a major city in an EDC. It is based on the Hodder OCR A textbook (although additional resources are included in the booklet to support) and requires students to complete mind maps, tables, questions, exam questions and diagrams. The booklet has been planned and designed to take 20-24 lesson hours.
