This mini project will introduce students to working together in separate places to film a short moment and put them together as a short film.
The end project is the popular trend of passing an object from one screen to another.
This can be a very fun and exciting project and a good way to start distance learning. I did this as an experiment to help students get familiar with working in this way and used it as a time to work out who was not confident, so I could help them get prepared for the bigger projects.
It also gets them used to working in breakout rooms, making creative decisions together and helps everyone to get better at editing.
It is suitable for any secondary age students.
There are 3 lessons but could easily go over more and be made into a bigger project if you wanted!
Students can film on their phones or use laptops/ipads - I have included a help sheet for recording using screencastify and Quicktime Player too.

Useful stater. Lesson three does not open though. It looks like the file is corrupted. Can you please address this?
