Online Safety : Internet Addiction 2018 (E-Safety Assembly)

Designed for Safer Internet Day 2018.

The theme is online / technology addiction. Certainly a problem and topical issue in many schools. This presentation focuses on our growing dependency of smartphones, and the negative effects it can have. I found the topic to be thought provoking and a different angle on the usual risks / dangers resources we often use.

This resources is a 15 minute Presentation, well suited for KS3/ KS4 assemblies and tutor activities. I’ve added guidance and question prompts to the slide notes throughout.

This resource has been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow. The resources are fully editable (so easy to adapt for your school).
