In this playlist, students explore standard W.8.2.A. They learn how to organize their writing by introducing the topic of an essay, previewing what is to follow, organize ideas, concepts, and information into broader categories, and use formatting, graphics, and multimedia to aid comprehensions. Students look at example mini-outlines and example paragraphs and are guided through the process of organizing the ideas and details into a coherent structure.
