Oxford Reading Blue Band Phase 4 Guided Reading Pack for 8 books, including 6 Oxford Reading Tree Books (Everyone Got wet, The Scarf, No Tricks Gran, Painting the Loft, Stuck in the Mud and Tom, Dad and Colin) and 2 Project-X books (The Play Parn and Zak and Zee). All these books can be viewed for free as an Ebook on the Oxford Reading Owl website. These have been created to cover a weeks worth of Guided Reading activities for Year 1, but could also be used for higher ability groups at the end of Reception or lower ability groups in Year 2.
Each pack has
- guided reading questions
- an individual reading record linked to NC objectives
- a comprehension task
- a phoneme spotter recapping Phase 3 sounds
- true or false statements
- Syllable search activity
Each pack also has additional activities linked to the text e.g. Word Hunter Activity, Story Sequence Activity etc.
