Inquiry based learning activity for students learning about antibiotics, bacteria and viruses.
The students add “antibiotic” discs to agar plates and leave them overnight.
Teacher to add bacterial colonies using tip x and then students to measure the halo around the discs to discover which antibiotic is most effective.
Teacher to add padlet links for students to give answers.
Students will be able to conduct their own research to learn about antibiotics and bacteria. Engaging resource for students.
