This Assembly is aimed at 4-9 year olds. It wakes a broad view of “mothers” and points out that even Paddington who is an orphan needs a “mother”. The assembly briefly looks at the need for foster families and adoption. It explores how we need to care for those going on a long journey and it could be used to touch on immigration or refugees.
The other main theme is that in families we do know each other really well and we know what is special about them.
