GCSE Citizenship 9-1: A 2 hour lesson on where political power resides in the UK. This lesson covers; the difference between the executive, the legislature, the judiciary and the monarchy as well as the nature of bicameral Westminster parliament, the respective roles of and the relationship between the House of Commons and the House of Lords and the role of the monarch. This could be used as an introduction to the topic or a revision session.

Created for Citizenship GCSE - Politics and Participation. Includes:
2 hour PP, worksheets, exam practice question, clips, well differentiated and easily adapted. Made for AQA Citizenship 9-1 but suitable material for any of the Citizenship GCSE courses or could be used for non-GCSE British Values lessons.
