A student activity based on the literacy skill of passive third person voice about the Australian Assimilation Policy and the Stolen Generations. The students are asked to change sentences on the purpose and impact of the policy from active into passive voice. There is a supplementary activity in which they must write a paragraph in passive third person voice about the impact of the Assimilation Policy. The activities could be used as a starter, enrichment, or homework task. An answer sheet is provided.
