Based on my experience would like to offer this great start: Anxiety levels dictate tolerance of demands at any particular time. Humour can be extremely helpful when communicating with PDA children, Depending on their level of functioning often respond better when complicated language is used as it tends not to be so direct. Reduction of challenge, often PDA can be high functioning and it shouldn't be automatically assumed they can not manage the same challenge that non-PDA can manage, it's just how it's presented to them Extended reading isn't an issue for every PDA.
