Pearson Edexcel GCSE MFL Speaking Mark Sheet

Updated: Now with correction made to the content and communication box and numbers added to each band.

The sheet has been created to help support teachers while conducting speaking mocks for the Edexcel Pearson speaking exam (Spec. 2016). The official mark schemes can sometimes be overwhelming during mocks when teachers have to ensure students are prepared, they are asking the correct questions, keeping an eye on time and having to listen and mark on the spot.

To help with this demanding task, the basic information has been fitted to an A4 sized table.

• Foundation and higher mark sheets included.
• For the role-play, there is space to tally how many points you give (2 points per question)
• The picture-based activity and general converastion mark bands have been simplified to the basic information. While conducting the assessment, add a tick in which band you think is appropriate.
• When you finally upload data, simply, refer back to Pearson Edexcel’s mark scheme to award a number based.

Our team saved a lot of time marking mocks this way and we managed to fit in over 80 students with 4 teachers conducting in one day.
