A short phonics session on adjacent consonant (day 1, phase 4).
* Starts off with a timer used for a quick recap of learnt phonemes.
* It then moves onto HFW.
* The following slide allows the children to read the words by segmenting and then blending.
* Next the children are required to sort the words into real words and alien words (i.e. nonsense words).
* Finally ask the children to read the sentence to apply their knowledge.
(could possibly transfer to PPT presentation if SMART Notebook does not work)
