Chemical and Physical Changes Activity Card Sort
Is baking a cake a chemical or physical change? What about cutting a piece of paper? In this low-prep sorting activity your students will classify changes in matter as either physical or chemical. The resource includes pictures of examples of 24 different changes, 12 for chemical and 12 for physical. Three different sizes of the cards are provided to use in a variety of ways. The large cards can be used for science centers or stations while the small ones will fit in interactive notebooks. A hands-on activity for reinforcing science vocabulary and concepts in a fun way!
