Place Value Hunt/ Code Word- Year 3- Rainforest Theme

Differentiated place value activity for year 3. Children interpret a number from base ten, or numicon, images, and record in digits. Once a number has been identified, they can try to find it on their hunt. Once the number is found, there will be a corresponding letter. Once all letters have been found, a code word will be revealed (in this particular case, a word linked to the rainforest). 4 sets privided.
