A 3 to 4 week unit using David Litchfield's beautiful picture book 'The Bear and the Piano'. We taught in Year 2 but I am sure it can be adapted for other year groups. It wouldn't let me upload any more files so just to say in the last week we then went on to write our own versions of the story, which the kids loved; we had a skateboarding bunny and a cello playing owl.
