Pupils learnt the anatomy of an insect pollinated plant.
Lesson starts with a mini white-board recap of the learning in the previous 2 lessons
Pupils then label a diagram of an insect pollinated plant and complete a scavenger hunt activity to find out the function of the main parts.
All information sheets ready to print are included.
Pupils color code the important male and female parts of the plant and then complete a gap-fill task on the different structures.
Lesson ends with a research task (we have iPads available but could be done via textbooks) on how pollen grains differ depending on whether they are transferred by wind or insects.
