Poetry KS2

This resource includes a poem used to show different poetic techniques as well as a power point. It could be used in any KS2 poetry class.
This poem is called Desperate. It is about s child trying to include all the poetic techniques they have learned but they are finding the task difficult. Without knowing they include all the techniques required.
Techniques include alliteration, rhyme, metaphor, simile and personification.
The power point explains alliteration, similes, metaphors, onomatopoeia, rhyme and repetition and gives examples of each.
