Power Laws

This is a lesson designed for Year 9 (or any KS3 / GCSE revision) learning Power Laws for multiplying, dividing, power-to-power and negative powers. It also explains why any number to the power of 0 is 1.

Each law is explained with a detailed breakdown of “why” it works. There’s space on each slide for the teacher to add additional questions for practice.

It includes a 5 question revision starter and some questions for independent practice at the end.
